Geduld bringt... Tulpen!

Oje... Manchmal ist geduldig sein schwierig! Am Freitag Morgen habe ich diese Seife gesiedet und sie ist immer noch nicht hart. Ich habe sie mit Kokosmilch und einem kleinen bisschen Wasser gemacht. Die Kokosmilch habe ich über Nacht ins Gefrierfach gelegt, so dass ich keine Probleme mit der Natronlauge habe. Aber nun vermochte das Natriumhydroxid die Kokosmilch nicht zu schmelzen... Irgendwann war dann doch alles geschmolzen und ich konnte die Lauge dem Öl hinzufügen. Es dauerte ziemlich lange, bis sich eine Spur bildete. Das Färben ging super - ich habe die Pigmente benutzt, die ich vor einiger Zeit im Brocky gekauft habe. Ich habe mit dem Kleiderbügel marmoriert. Das ist meine Liebelingstechnik im Moment - es hat diesen schönen Überraschungsmoment, wenn man die Seife schneidet. Aber eben... hart müsste sie sein. Sie hatte keine Gelphase und ich vermute, dass sie deswegen noch immer weich wie zimmertemperierte Butter ist. Ich konnte sie wenigstens ausformen und versuchte auch zu schneiden... Aber seht selbst:

Nun... irgendwann... irgendwann wird sie hart sein. Und dann schlage ich zu!;) Als Belohnung für das lange Warten habe ich vorsorglich schon mal Tulpen gekauft!

Sometimes being patient is difficult! I did this soap on friday morning and it is still very soft. I did it with coconutmilk and a wee bit of water. I put the cocomilk into the freezer for a night to avoid overheating with the NaOH. But in the end it was all too cold and it took the cocomilk ages to melt. It also took quite long to build a nice trace. A while ago I found these pigments in the secondhand shop. I used those for colouring and all went fine - at least. I used my favourite technic at the moment: hanger swirl. I like this so much, because you never really know how your soap is going to look like... But the soap needs to be hard before I can cut it. It didn't have a gelphase (is it called like this in english???) and I think it's because of this, it's still so soft. Well, at least I was able to take it out of the mold. And there will be the point where it will get hard and then... then I take my knife and cut it!;) As a reward for all the waiting I got some tulips.
