Frohen Mutes geht es weiter in meiner "Kosmetikküche". Kürzlich habe ich Körperbutter hergestellt. Yummie, sag ich da nur! Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt, wie einfach es doch ist, solche netten Dinge herzustellen. Wieso in den Laden gehen und ein Produkt kaufen, von dem ich nicht wirklich eine Ahnung habe, was drin steckt? Also... hier steckt drin: Kakaobutter, Sheabutter, Mangobutter, Babassuöl, Bienenwachs, Vitamin E und Parfümöl "Maiglöckchen".
Ich habe im Brocky mal Kuchenformen gekauft und die flüssigen Öle einfach eingefüllt. Während sie am auskühlen waren habe ich mich dann doch gefragt, wie ich sie wieder aus der Form kriege. Ganz einfach: ein paar Stunden ins Gefrierfach und dann ein paar Mal auf den Tisch klopfen - und schon flutschten sie heraus.
Und ja... ich stehe im Moment total auf Punkte: mittlerweile habe ich eine ganze Kollektion gepunkteter Socken und nun schwappt der Virus zu anderen Dingen über, wie Geschenkpapier...
More news from my cosmetic kitchen. Recently I made some bodymelts. Yummie... they are delicious! Again and again I'm suprised how easy it is to produce such things. Why going into a shop to buy a product you have no idea what's in? In here there is: cocoabutter, sheabutter, mangobutter, babassuoil, bees wax, vitamine e and parfume oil called "lillies of the valley".
Once I found little cake froms in the secondhand shop and now I've used them to pour the liquid oils in. While they were drying I asked myself how I will get the bars out of the forms? It was very easy: put it into the freezer for a few hours and off they come!
And... yes... I've fallen in love with dots! I have a box full of dotted socks... and now the virus has swaped over to warpping paper...
